Stewart Building & Excavating is built on more than just experience—it is built on partnership, purpose, and a shared belief in doing things the right way.
Scott and I met and married later in life, and in many ways, that timing was a gift. With decades of life and work experience behind us, we found not only our true partner in each other, but also a renewed sense of direction and inspiration. Together, we realized that the best chapters of our lives were still ahead—and we wanted to build something meaningful, lasting, and rooted in service to others.
Scott brings decades of hands-on experience in construction and excavation, including having previously owned and operated a successful building and excavating company. He has a deep understanding of the industry and a long-standing reputation for quality, reliability, and getting the job done right the first time. I bring leadership, organization, and a fresh perspective—especially as a woman stepping into what has traditionally been a male-dominated field. Together, we balance experience with innovation, and grit with heart.
At the end of the day, our business is a reflection of our journey: two people who found love later in life, inspired each other to grow, and decided to build something real—together. And we bring that same commitment, integrity, and care to every project we take on.
